The Coffee Club New Zealand Support Team are responsible for developing, marketing, expanding, innovating and managing the strategic and operational aspects of The Coffee Club Group in New Zealand.


Brad Jacobs

BRAD JACOBS   DIRECTOR & PROPERTY MANAGER

Collectively, Brad has been with The Coffee Club for over 14 years working across a range of roles originally starting as a wash up boy in Cairns, North Queensland. He is very passionate about The Coffee Club Brand, the franchising industry, and the retail market.  Brad is a strategic thinker and is always looking for ways to ensure The Coffee Club is a leader in our market.

As joint director of The Coffee Club New Zealand, Brad's primary focus is on achieving operational excellence across our group in order to lead The Coffee Club's continuing expansion plans in New Zealand. Brad also looks after all property and franchising matters, being responsible for negotiating and securing new sites for The Coffee Club and recruiting new Franchisees to join our group.


Andy Lucas

ANDY LUCAS   DIRECTOR & MARKETING MANAGER

Andy is joint owner and director of The Coffee Club New Zealand.  Andy is the key driver in developing national marketing and promotional strategies for The Coffee Club New Zealand.  He also provides assistance to stores with Local Area Marketing when required.

Andy has always worked in the Hospitality industry, originally starting in Hotels where he worked in brasserie style cafes, fine dining restaurants, and as a concierge.  With many years experience in the Hospitality industry and a diploma in hospitality management, Andy has a high level of knowledge and expertise across all areas of the business. 


Cathy Hill

CATHY HILL  BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER

Cathy comes to The Coffee Club with direct experiences in both the cafe and franchising industries, having been a store manager in McDonalds for many years and a franchisee herself with the Sierra Coffee Group for 3 years. Cathy is passionate about The Coffee Club brand, and is highly driven to achieve success with our group in New Zealand.

As a Business Development Manager, Cathy's primary role is the continued development and support to franchisees in all areas of their business.

BHWANA MAGAN   BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER

Bhwana has over 15 years experience in hospitality operations including senior management positions with Kermadec Restaurant in Auckland.  Bhwana has expertise in the analysis of key performance indicators required for store growth, as well as experience in developing revenue generating strategies at a store level.

As Business Development Manager, Bhwana's primary role is the continued development and support to franchisees in all areas of their business.


Nellie Strickland

NELLIE STRICKLAND   TRAINING & OPERATIONS CONSULTANT

Nellie is our training coordinator and leader, having joined The Coffee Club New Zealand in March 2007. Nellie's primary role is to provide comprehensive operations training for franchisees and team members over the course of new store openings, store sales and on an ongoing basis through such programmes as our Excellent Coffee Academy.

Nellie's previous career involved working in the Hotel Industry, where she worked at the Heritage Hotel in Auckland for five years as Food and Beverage Supervisor.  Nellie has a real passion for training and is an intergral part of our people team.

ROBERT RUDD   STORE OPENING TRAINER

Rob is our hands on operations trainer, responsible for the core operations training of new franchisees and team members over the course of new store openings and store sales.  Rob also assists with training in existing stores.

Rob started with The Coffee Club group in April 2010 in a store manager role working in a franchised store.  He then moved into the support office in early 2011 in the role of store opening trainer.  Rob is also an intergral part of our new product development where he assists with new product trials and photoshoots.

ANNE HALL   ASSISTANT ACCOUNTANT

Anne's is our numbers expert, coming from a background in accounting and having spent years in various accounting roles.

Anne is responsible for ensuring the financial reporting of franchisees to The Coffee Club support office each week.  Anne also provides the accounting information to The Coffee Club directors so that the right strategic and financial decisions can be made to grow The Coffee Club in New Zealand.  Anne also develops and updates financial information for The Coffee Club Group, and manages our VIP Club.
